Which materials do you like to work with?

I’m drawn to paper and clay — materials that breathe, move, and tell their own story. Growing up in my family’s printing business sparked my love for paper; in clay, I find that same tactile honesty. Together with textile designer Nathalie Van der Massen, I keep exploring this sense of touch and texture.

 

What project are you currently working on?

I’m creating a new series of sculptures for an exhibition with gallerist Stéphanie Frederickx. The works are pure in line yet human in their irregularity — layered, tactile, and quietly present. They’ll be shown in a house by a Belgian architect, where light and material meet.

The beige suit and light blue shirt reflect my world of calm tones and textures — simple, honest, and timeless. For evening, I chose the black one-shoulder top: subtle, sculptural, and balanced — a quiet dialogue between form and fragility.
